foods that heal the gut

article about foods that heal the gut: These foods (I’m sure there are more than these) are:

* “The compounds in cranberry don’t allow the H. pylori to live in the gut, and if taken prophylacticly they don’t allow the bacteria to attach itself to the lining of the stomach or intestines.” What does prophylacticly mean? Freedictionary.com says it means “Acting to defend against or prevent something, especially disease”

* “Omega-3s have been shown to not only prevent colon cancer, but also to halt or reverse the progression of the disease.” We get this from cold water fish – tuna, salmon, halibut.

* Apples contain “polyphenols which … is a phytochemical that is known to have anti-viral, anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties.”

* Yogurt’s probiotics can help heal the gut.

* Herbs, such as “black currant, fennel, fenugreek, coriander, ginger, tamarind and turmeric are some of the herbs that can help a variety of ailments of the stomach and digestive system.”

natural cancer cure – eat raw!!!

good article – aloe vera juice and ulcers I buy it from Sam’s Club – a gallon of it. It’s good to put in smoothies and mix with juices, such as grape juice. I also keep a plant in the kitchen for burns. You can also just break off a bit of the plant and blend up in smoothies.
